Hello fellow Desker from Julia's place called Stamping Ground.
Happy 6th Anniversary! Can you believe that Julia has been hosting us from all around the globe for 6 years?
She is the queen of desk hops and snoops! Way to go Julia, thanks for being the glue between us all every week. I have not been able to participate nearly as much as I would like to this year due to commitments and "real life" getting in the way. But I would not miss this party for anything!
So much so, to celebrate...my desk has a new mat (or two cos they don't make pink ones in giant A1 size) just in time for this week's show and tell blogland party.
Here are the before photos...
That's it for me. I will try get round to as many desks as possible today.

The general chaos which ensues on a daily basis...as seen above!
Then the horror when I lifted the large A1 mat and it stuck to my desk as a few years ago I had tried to spray paint the back white to make it look pretty on my desk and it stayed sticky and never really dried...so I turned it back to green and forgot about that "studio make over" disaster! Had to scrape the stuck paint off with a blade...
Above is the organised chaos to the left of me and below is the not so organised chaos to the right of me!
I need to make another distress ink tower as Tim is coming out with an ink a month...these ones are homeless! That's it for me. I will try get round to as many desks as possible today.
Great transformation Bella love it... Intend to post later, God willing, but zilch done, as been unwell, tooth infection etc ... Love the pink look, frustrating storage sometimes eh re DI?

ReplyDeleteHey Bella, thanks for the visit - yay, we are swap mates. I'll wait to hear from you and send you my deets. I love the new mats, pink no less - love all the little jars on your desk. Cx #25
ReplyDeleteYep! Me too! I need to make a new Distress Tower for the new inks although I have not collected them all - yet! I keep saying I don't need them but bet I do eventually.
ReplyDeleteYour green mat looks just like mine and funnily enough I now have a pink one but nowhere near the half size of yours.
Am tickled pink to see you are sending to me.
Happy WOYWW 6th Anniversary - Hugs, Neet 29 x
Out of disaster comes triumph! Love your new area and your pink mat...well, it just couldn't be any other colour for you, could it?!
ReplyDeleteHappy 6th WOYWW,
Hugs, LLJ 16 xxxx
Oh oops, you had to scrape off the paint. But it looks really nice now with the new mats. All in time for the anniversary.
ReplyDeleteI’m still travelling but managed to have internet today so I’m visiting as many of you as I can. Happy anniversary all! Six years is quite a long time.
Have a good week and CU Wednesday

Hi Bella, love the shots of the desk. The paint disaster made me smile. I've just had to re-organise my inkpads to accommodate another 12 DI pads too! Happy 6th Anniversary, Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #17 xx

Hey, I can re-hoe anything from your desk, no problem chum! Loving the new look pink mat, but not quite as much as the story of the 'other side' f the green mat....another life lesson! For a minute there, I looked at your photo of the left of the desk and thought the Distress Glitter lids were glued to the top of the shelf...like you see in garages and things for random jars to be holders. See. I dream of such organisation!!
ReplyDeleteLove those pink mats!! And we've all had at least one sticky paint incident...so weird! And yes, Tim's new colors have played havoc with my storage as well...not that I want him to stop! LOL! Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteHi Bella, happy 6th WOYWW. Pink mats looking great and I too need to rethink storage for TH distress inks - loving his new colours. Have a great week Cheers RobynO#14
ReplyDeleteWow, you sure have a lot of stuff to store away! As my stash is constantly growing I have to reorganize once in a while, but it never looks as neat as yours.

I had a similar problem when I glued craft paper to my sewing desk before it became that. When I tried too remove the paper, l had a horrible mess. So, at least I can relate.
ReplyDeleteGlad you joined in this special day. I too have been more absent this year than in the past. Happy, happy 6th WOYWW anniversary from #1.
Great space and it reminds me that I really need to get me some spinners & more ink handles!
ReplyDeleteSally
I can imagine your horror with the paint! Looks like you have more than the two mats, theres pink under that right hand pile too :) but pink is pretty of course. Wishing you a crafty woyww year!

Happy Anniversary Bella!!
ReplyDeleteWhy am I not surprised you have pink craft mats?? I was only thinking the other day that I need to get another layer for my spinner too! I need a new tin for my inks too.

ReplyDeleteHi Bella, always impressed at your tower of goodies on your desk - you can just about see there is a window behind it. Love your new clean pink mat(s) but had a good chuckle at the paint story - we learn by our mistakes :) Belated Happy WOYWW 6 - I'm slowly but surely visiting everyone still. Hugs, Elizabeth x #54
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love your desk and all the bits and bobs on it! Take care Zo xx 47
ReplyDeleteLove the pink mat. Honestly I am forever buying new ones when the old ones get too warped and mucky. About time for a new one here as well.

Happy WOYWW 6!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments on my blog. I'm a bit slow getting round this week!
I am soooo behind with my Tim Holtz inks. And like you, nowhere to put them. As I have a holiday coming up, methinks it'll be my July pay where I purchase a couple more for my collection....
