Yip, here in South Africa, we start our new grades with the beginning of each year. So today was the end of a 4 week Summer Holiday and for my son, the start of Grade 2.
He is such a typical boy. Lives to play, so school just gets in the way! He was already plotting his fun afternoon activities before he even went to school today, just to make sure he could fit it all in!
So, on my desk are this mornings photos and a very quick layout. I still have to dig out my box of stickers and back to school embellies. I made the title some time last year when I came across the free SVG file on
http://svgcuts.com/ I am trying to keep on top of my latest photos by printing them and doing the pages and then go back into my pile of backlog in between. That way, I am hoping to catch up... One has to have a plan, at least that way it can be changed or ignored, but I feel better working to a plan.
So now you have seen whats on my desk, hop on over to Julia's desk at Stamping Ground where she hosts the World Wide Wednesday Desk Hop and Snoop.
I loved your LOs - what great pics. My boys were just like that too when they were younger, always outside climbing trees, riding bikes, scraping knees, getting filthy...aahh, happy days!!

Lovely lo .... I still remember when mine stood still and smiled when I took a photo.(sigh) Our school starts at the end of this month and we also start a new grade at the beginning of the year, similar to South Africa.

I agree, plan, lists, whichever way works, it helps for me for sure! I LOVE they LO..the photos are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHow great to have a plan, unfortunately I'm useless at making them! I live as much for my after work and weekend time as you son does for his after school time. Don't tell him it won't end until the day he retires, lol!!
