WOYWW 159 Multimedia Canvas

Hello desk hoppers from all around the Globe.  Today I show you what my floor, desk and temporary desk looked like after coming back from teaching a class, so read into that, kitting up for a few days before hand and trying to get a few important things like Father's day cards made too...

Then here you see me being inspired by a wonderful lady called Finnabair.  You have to go to her site to appreciate how versatile this artist is from canvases to scrap book pages.  I  saw a canvas on Minxy's blog that I think was too inspired by this lady and I set about taking apart an old printer that was on its way to the re-cycle yard (though it got a bit pilfered first before it got there...thought I would start the re-cycling at home...) 





Here is the beginning, the middle and the end...well I think it needs a bit more metallic paint, but I am going to look at it for a few days before I add to it.  You can see the inspiration stuck up in front of me.

    This is really beautiful Bella. Such a great idea to use old printer parts and fun pulling it apart too. Who would have thought a printer could look this good, great colours.

    Wow Bella, what an amazing project! Just shows you can always make art out of what's around you! I think you're right about moving my craft room, they said we're going to have a hotter than average summer here, I truly hope not!

    I love, love love this piece. So much to see and love the recycle aspect of it too. You are truly gifted no doubt and thanks for sharing it.

    Ok and last week, I didn't get to your desk but did today and really love how you turned that plain butterfly album into another masterpiece. What a great idea for using it. So pretty.

    Hello Bella, we obviously have very similar tastes (TH & Finnabair) I absolutely love her work and have been following her blog for awhile. Always such a different take on LO and so inspiring. What you have done is fabulous I wouldn't have known where to start. She is meant to becoming to Australia again and there is already 100's of people on the wait list for a space!!! You were right about TH he was lovely and very giving with his time and sharing of tips.
