Whats on My Workdesk Wednesday 182? Birthday stuff and a blank canvas!
I have been a tad busy lately and even nearly missed a post for today, but here it is...
There is a bag full of Birthday cards from friends to whom I have been writing thank you notes and a 12"x 12"still blank canvas which is a sample I must make for the school holiday program I am running at my store. in the second week of December
Then there is a pile of Christmas cards I have made for sale or personal use, depending on how many are left...hoping to sell them...and not have too many left for personal use!
So that's me, now I am off to see who else has put their desk up for scrutiny over at Julia's place called Stamping Ground.

Whats on my workdesk Wednesday
Really? It is Wednesday again? I seemed to have missed a few along the way too...I only realised I had missed last week when I was about to shut the computer down at midnight SA time and saw Kim's post!
I have been burning the candle, beginning, middle and end since opening the store a month ago, which is going nicely and I have been frantically designing cards to teach and pages as well. Just not enough daylight hours or days in the week!
I shut my Art studio for the Christmas break in exactly a month today and I can't really get my head round it!
It is my 40th today and I am planning a high tea with my friends this coming Saturday, so my desk is covered in pink stuff for decor and eating...not much crafting other than baking going to happen around here for the next few days, but that counts doesn't it, in its own creative way?
Here you see the light pink tissue paper for decor, dark pink table cloth and paper serviettes as well as the pink feathers for the flower arrangements. The stripy straws are for the cupcake pops along with the wooden sticks and the pink 100s and 1000s, the rest is for eating along with cucumber sandwiches vanilla cake and chocolate mouse that is going in 36 of those little plastic sherry glasses...
Oh well folks, thanks for popping by on my special day, It hasn't really hit me yet...40...

Tim's 12 Tags of 2012 - November
Here is my take on Tim's November tag of the 12 tags of 2012.
As usual I have done the techniques he used, just not with the stamps he has got!
We don't really celebrate Thanksgiving here in South Africa so I made it more of a seasonal one by using the Fir tree branch stamp (locally produced) and the Happy Holidays stamp from Tim's Holiday Wishes set. I also used the pine-cone stamp from the same set on the die cut from the Festive Greenery Sizlet because it fits perfectly. (Tim is so clever that way - I don't think that was an accident...)
Thanks for your visit
