What's on My Workdesk Wednesday 197? Roses, Roses and More Roses!

Yes fellow Wednesday desk hopper, everything is coming up roses on my desk this week.  My order for 40 plus roses is due today and seeing as I work best under pressure, I am still cutting and rolling the last 20 this morning...My machine is going great guns in the background while I am typing this!

Here is my desk as it progressed last night!





They still need their bases glued on so that they don't come apart when someone picks them up and I must make another 12 small ones.  The little petals you can see in the left hand corner in yellow and orange are the original ones done with the punch.  I still need to cut 24 of those strips to make up the last of the order as each rose takes 2 overlapped strips...it is 7:30am as I write this and they need to be done and dusted by 9:30! No pressure...!

I will desk hop from the launch pad at Julia's place as soon as I come up for air!

    Wow Bella those are some really pretty roses there! Are you cutting those on the Cricut? I read how they take 1 1/2 sheets each and I don't know of a punch that makes them that big! Very nice! Have a great week. Hope you get them all done pronto! Vickie #1

    Oh my Bella these are stunning!! Ah procrastination....I use to laugh at it until I realized I passed it on to my daughter. Whoops. Oh well, it's true pressure is a great motivator. You must tell us what your client is going to do with all these beauties....I am now off to watch your tutorial because they really are beautiful!! Happy Wednesday!

    well you really seem to be getting on with the roses...40 doesn't sound so many ..... until you get down to it they look lovely though and I am sure will be appreciated by the recipient.

    40! Thats going to be one fab bouquet! or set of cards, scrap page etc. What size are they? They look quite big? I love to know what they are going to be used for.

    Lordy Bella, there's pressure and there's pressure!! You must be finished by now and won't want to see another for a while, but let me remind you what a great job you've done, they are absolutely beautiful.

    oh wow they really are so pretty what punch or die do you use for these as I would love to be able to make some for my projects?
