What's on My Workdesk Wednesday 239? store sample and X-mas cards!

Happy New Year fellow Desker!

Here is my desk in all its 2014 glory!

I have started making samples for the store for when we re-open on 6 Jan and so I am slowly working my way through that list of things to do.

Then there are the 3 stunning Christmas Cards I have received from 2 of my fellow deskers, Vonny K and Ali H as well as one from my Studio assistant Tertia.  I always appreciate cards that have been made for me.  I know how much time, love and effort go into them and they will stay just above my desk as inspiration for a while to come.

We had an early night as we were out all afternoon with my Mom and friends so I missed the rest of the live stream a thon that was held.  I am going to spend the day watching the recorded videos...won't be as fun without the live chat, but I have printed all the instructions etc, so I want to see how my projects are supposed to look,  as a teacher it is wonderful to be on the receiving end.

    Great desk shot and you have dived straight into playing this year, good for you. You should of called the cat Skywalker there is always a chance to change.

    We must exchange snail mail addys so I can send you a card maybe by next Christmas. LOL

    Such a lot of loveliness on your desk. We stayed in too, doing a real family night for a change. It was lovely :)

    What always impresses me are those cubbies that sit above your desk top. They seem so useful.

    Nice to see someone getting crafty and thinking ahead! Lovely cards from blogging pals, very inspiring. The yarn winder contraption is a fantastic tool, but I agree, it's one of those things you either need or you don't, no half measures! Have a wonderful 2014.

    I am always amazed by those of you girls who manage to do some crafting over this time of the year. I think I have a very demanding family and they would not have me in my studio. Suffice it to say that now I am having withdrawals big time and I just want to go home and spend some time in my studio. Happy New Year Bella... xx
