Hello Fellow Desker!
Welcome to the beginnings of a Christmas village! This is the prototype in cardstock and then I am going to build the rest in pretty paper.
I also have the die cuts from samples for my store lying in wait of inspiration as to what to do with them now that I have got them this far. I did do a card with the wreath as seen below which is already in store...but the rest have to wait for me to find the time and the inclination...
So there we have my desk in all its chaotic glory!
See you at your desk if you have linked up with Julia on her new fancy pro designed blog!
Thanks for the visit
Bella

I LOVE the little houses...any model making is good in my opinion! My sons and I made a whole town from a pop out book a few Christmasses back. We had the best time doing it...happy memories :-)

Building a village...How fun! I can't wait to see it finished. I love your wreath card...my photo got lost with my post last week. I had it on the TH woodgrain texture. I love the way you did the bow. How did you highlight the leaves? I tried the gold rub stuff, but made a mess! So I ened up just using some red rhinestones to give a bit of brighness.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that purple building is fabulous...I can't wait to see the village and hear about making it...like what kind of glue do you use...and what's a good paper that won't crack and break or have a white core. Great wood texture and lovely shine on the holly wreath. Your desk looks ready to play. Be well Carole #67
ReplyDeleteI dunno about chaos, but I do agree about the glory! who wonderful wreath card! and I'm loving the little stocking swag too. Thing is, when you're in the mood to do Christmas, the other stuff really does have to wait...
ReplyDeletelove the creativity on your desk this week. I wish I could get the feeling .... its just not happening at the moment.
ReplyDeleteYour wreath is a good place to start though.
Have a great week

Hi Bella! I am seeing wood grain all over the place, and wood grain embossing folders, even wood grain paper...it seems to be really hot right now. I love your wreath on the wood grain paper...I am assuming it's the paper, not embossed and inked? I can hardly tell anymore, can you tell I am liking the woodgrain stuff?
