What's on My Workdesk Wednesday 259? Demo Kits

Hello there fellow Desker!  Welcome to my desk over in Cape Town, South Africa!

a LOT has been going on on this desk the past week!
Changing this card kit above to the scrap page below on Sunday.
 Monday night:
Making strawberry baskets (SVG Cuts) My hubby was testing the big camera lens he had just fixed (so nice to have a techi type DH he ordered the parts on line and did it while watching a Youtube video...it had gone into the shop for repairs and came out the same as before for a huge sum of money!)  I had used the lens so much I had worn out the focus sensor!!!

This is me kitting up 8 baskets for future use
Below is my desk as it stands this morning after kitting yesterday for the Tim Holtz technique demo I am running on Friday and Saturday for 20 peeps.
We have an allocated power shut down for maintenance today, so not sure if I will get to many desks till later...

  2. It's good to have a hubby who knows how to get things done. I have a Bleubeard who only knows how to purr (grin).

I'm in awe of those kits. It must take a lot of time and effort to get it done.

Power shut down? Sounds devastating, especially if you need it for things like AC. But yo8u are in Autumn, so that might not be a problem where you live. Happy WOYWW from #2.

  18. I am so glad I never have to "kit" - esp. after Julia's admission earlier in the week LOL! Love the basket, cute as can be. As is your ATC - it hadn't arrived when I saw your comment this morning, then the day got away from me, with DS coming home and a few minor catastrophes that needed dealing with (we ALSO had a scheduled outage that I forgot about - 2nd one in two weeks! argh!) but now it HAS arrived. Yours will be in the mail when I drop off the dolls and my official swap ATC. Thanks - and love the card too. Great image.

    Happy near 5 year WOYWW!

  24. Fab cards and great baskets Bella.
Must tell you, tv is my way/our way of spending time together in the evening. We each have our own space in the house during the day but like to sit together in the evening for thrillers like the one I mentioned. Guess we might not see one another much if we didn't LOL.
Hugs and thanks for visiting me earlier.
