What's on My Workdesk Wednesday 213? Pinterest inspiration!

Good day to you fellow Wednesday desk hopper from Julia's place over at Stamping Ground.  Welcome to my desk in Cape Town, South Africa.

First you have the panned out view of my desk above and then the up close and personal below...
I have been very busy on Pinterest lately as I am on one weeks leave during the middle week of the school Winter hols...It is amazing how fast days evaporate before your eyes when you are busy...Can't believe it is Wednesday, I feel like it should still be Monday (wish it was!) We are half way through the 3 weeks!

I have printed out a card by Fleur Pearson off Pinterest and am using it as a jumping point for the card I am layering up on my desk.  Then there is the hot air balloon card which  made last night after making another card with clouds the previous night.  The balloon was previously a lemon on a party straw before it became a vintage hot air balloon in this life!

EDIT: 8:15pm:  I have finished the card!

Lastly, two happy mail arrivals from WOYWW4 celebration:

A HUGE spoil by Vonny K all hand made or painted by her:

and then a gorgeous ATC and beautiful lazer cuts from Sara J!
That's me for today, now I am off to see what I can see on your desk!

Thanks for the visit

Bella

  5. Lots of lovely stuff to look at this week. I used Pinterest a LOT but then something changed and now I can't seem to pin things from my iPad - which is were I tend to do the kind of googling that finds things to pin. I still look at other peoples pins a lot but my own boards are pretty stagnant. Did I mention I hate technology? :) Looking forward to seeing the card.

    Happy WOYWW!

  36. I see what you mean about the storage across the window, Bella! One day you won't be able to see out lol!! Love the card you've made, and the gorgeous stuff you were sent. I was sorry not to be involved in this year's WOYWW anniversary but it just wasn't possible. I still treasure all the ATCs from last year.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment and for your prayers for my upcoming medical test. They are so appreciated! I've got my preliminary appt. at the hosp. tomorrow a.m. and then we're off to the new house again, so hopefully more photos will follow. It is such a thrilling project, and I can't wait to start unpacking everything into my new ARTHaven.
