Today it is Radovan's turn to inspire you with the new Lady Vagabond 3D buildable pieces, together with the new chipboard die cuts which he used inside this book box, that he covered in the original Lady Vagabond papers.  As the designer of these items, it is great to see them being used in conjunction with each other like I envisaged them.

The way Radovan has torn the papers to "expose" the clock paper below is fantastic.

I also love the dragon's eye he has put in the keyhole mould.  So striking.

The whole book cover is so beautifully distressed and layered with textures, I want to reach through the screen and touch it!

Olga's Masculine/Unisex cards

Hello dear reader... Olga here!

So today I have couple of cards that I made just to start working with the new release and to test out new toys  (possibly without cutting papers before I will hug them for at least 2 weeks:P) . 

I started with stamps to make sets of cards that I can keep handy just in case. I really like that they turned out to be super unisex so very fitting for any and all occasions. 

To make them more fancy I did paper piecing technique (gold is just cardstock painted with allegro gold paint) and acetate for fun peek-a-boo interactive effect

I also had a play with the "Supervisor", the books and bottle stamps, this turned out to be another great gender neutral card in the popular slim line format.

Hello dear reader!

Today we have a mix of the original Lady Vagabond and the new LV Lifestyle

I have combined the New stencil and printed wooden laser cuts with the old moulds on this record.

The Glamour paste in gold and turquoise work so beautifully through the stencil and I sprayed the background moulds with black gesso and then used Gold and Turquoise Cerantica on top.

The airship is coloured with alcohol inks and gold Cerantica over the top.  Everything was glued together with Glossy Gel.

Shamela's Tag book in a Box

I think Shamela's tag book is so clever and that it fits into this gorgeous box is genius!  I love how she has used the rice paper on the box and stencils for added accents in the book!

Anne's Book nook

 

Hello!  Anne here, This month I created a Book Nook (Definition - A book nook is literally a miniature world tucked into a book shelf between your books), set in London in Victorian times and you can see by the sign that she is the owner of a pub!  And of course, the book nook lights up too...

Last time when you were here, my very Talented teammate Samantha Thompson took her for a witchy adventure. Her project was just genial and so clever. I have to admit I saw it ahead  and Spooktober always makes me think about spells and more Haloween-ish themes but as last time I did a darker project this time I went softer. 

I turned one of my notebooks into book of spells with rice papers elements from paper line. My witch accent will be just tiny bottle with secret potion. I was super happy with finding that on one of clocks are tiny number that would fit perfectly on that vial. Small dimensional pocket watch frame is very sturdy - I cut it from same paper as tiny numbers and one of clock faces but as its quite 3D I backed it up with acetate to make sure it will not get ripped off from cover easily .
