What's On My Workdesk Wednesday 207? Page Layout

Hello there fellow Wednesday desk hopper!

Welcome to my desk in Cape Town, South Africa.

Today I have the finished page from a workshop I attended by one of my shop suppliers.  The page was designed by Liane van Harn for RS&E in JHB and was taught by Debbie Greef on her behalf down here.  Due to my photos I have changed the layout and base page colour as usual, but most of the main elements have remained.

This is the original!

Other than the in your face pink page, there are the two rainbow stacks of Distress ink pads at the back of my desk which I did on Saturday.  I created an Excel document, printed it, stuck it on my huge double sided tape and cut it into the strips and coloured them accordingly, now I have a clear idea of the colours in my pad towers from any angle!  If you would like a copy, just send me your email and I will pass it on.  It is not perfect, but it does the job.  I can't seem to add it as a link here...will work on that.

Thats me for today, now I am off to see your desk when I get a gap as I am off to work now!

Bella

  1. Yes BJ, that is in your face pink! I love it! You are so well organised, really I think I'm a bit intimidated! I didn't do anything as neat as proper labels, just used a silver marker to write badly on my ink pads. Feeling very sloppy!

  3. Lovely. I like both versions but lime and cherry seems so "warm weather" - just when I thought we were heading towards summer today is cold and blowy. Meh.

    Happy WOYWW!

  13. Love your layout. I stuck adhesive labels on the side of all my inkpads, after I had smudged the colour onto them. I agree it gives you a much better idea than the lid colour does. have a great week, hugs Shaz #125 xx

  15. Hi Bella,

I love both pages. It's interesting that the same basic layout could look so different - what with the colors used and the little embellishments. Speaking of which, I'd like two scoops please!

    Thanks for visiting me already!

    Happy WOYWW

  18. Now that is a lovely lo and I am all for "in your face pink". I much prefer several photos on a LO makes all the time and effort worthwhile. I am impressed with your DI colouring system. Have a lovely week.
