Shamela's handbag suitcase and cards

Today it is Shamela's turn to inspire you with this handbag suitcase box that she made from scratch.

Then once she was finished, she used up some scraps to make some cards! So just keep scrolling down to see those too!

I think her cards would look fabulous stored in this case! Then the envelopes could go in the pocket inside the lid!

Great paint work on the moulds of the handle and latches.

Such a clever way to attach the chain handle.

Olga's farewell DT project

Hello Vagabonders Olga here!

When new Lady V lifestyle line came out I Immediately spotted my favorite product. It is soft texture mould - Metal Texture . I absolutely love that texture and I put it everywhere on my Christmas makes.

So only fitting project for this month's farewell project would be a box to complete my pot set.

This time moulds have even more textures and details and I am amazed how nice they look with paint , gold foiling or just bare ones. I love to use that mould to cover Objects and any work you will use that texture on will immediately get extra "UMPF" and +10 to "Fancy"

To create my Trunk I used Lady V lifestyle papers (barley visible under paintjob) and new Moulds. Feet of the box are also from Stamperia Mould -Alice Chessboard. To add colors I used Paint set that came out with collection and some Gold Allegro and gold foil to add to rich look. On my jars to achieve real gold look I just double foiled my jar with gold leaf in sheets

Bella here... This is Olga's final Design Team piece for me and I am really going to miss her clever, ingenious creations.

Belinda's Lady Pirate page

Dear Reader

Here is another Double scrapbook page of me larking about at an airship pirate!

I had fun making the backdrop and then taking some selphies before I went live in Jauary 2021 for Stamperia doing the final of a 3 session project which we dubbed the apocalypse! I used eyeshadow for the make up on my neck and arms with sticky gears die cut from sticky backed foil...

It's fun being me sometimes! I don't take life too seriously and love to get into character!

Here is how I made the page

I started with a base of the original Lady Vagabone airship paper and the new Lady Vagabond Lifestyle Backgrounds pad one of only the newspaper... Cut the airship in half and split it, then used paper strips to glue the pages together again.

I then raided my cardstock and found some purple that matched the airship colours and some pink to match my hair and matted the photos alternately.

I cut the 3 sentiments from the cover of the 8"x8" paper pad and matted them too.

Using a black pencil crayon, I added shadows under the mats on the base paper.

Once this was done I added the title

Finally, I added the cardstock stickers and gave them shadows too!

For now this one is in a frame, but it can be carefully cut apart down the middle and put in an album at a later stage.

Anne's light up alarm clock city!

Hello there

Here is the most amazing version of the Greyboard alarm clock that I have seen so far! I love how Anne has used the original Lady Vagabond buildings and cut the windows out to make a lit up scene inside the clock.

Belinda's Double Scrapbookpage Christmas spread

Dear Reader

I am in full on Scrapbooking mode! It is my happy place! Being from South Africa where they do mostly double page spreads with as many photos as possible... this is my style too! I have about 30 albums in total with well over 50 sleeves in each... I have systematically documented my son/family life in photos since before my son was born and continue to do so... However I have been somewhat sidetracked by Lady Vagabond and have a serious backlog of photos to print and scrap.

For this reason, I have decided to start with the most recent stuff and work backwards... be prepared for some Scrapbooking binge making in my social media posts!

The two images below are the papers I have used

This is how the page was constructed using the original Vintage Christmas paper by Stamperia (SBBL45) as well as some red card stock. I tore the houses out of the one piece of paper and used the red to fill the gaps. The candy cane paper got cut where the 12" mark is so that I can put it in my album. If I was framing this, I would have left it as one piece.

Samantha's Mixed media "tag"

Todays project is made by Samantha. Her base was an MDF "brick wall" shape to start with and then she used the Lady V Lifestyle stencil on it to finish it off and then she used a mixture of original and new Lady V moulds. The image of Lady V herself is from the new die cuts.

Sailing into the new year with Belinda

Hello Dear Reader

Happy New Year!

Here you will find the step out photos I took as I was making this Bon Voyage card for a friend as well as an explanation under each photo

Take a 6"x12" piece of card and using the width of your ruler or 1 3/8" cut from 3 inches on the left to 1 inch from the right (11 inch mark) with your paper horizontal as above.

Then score the width of the paper that is above the ruler at the 3", 6", 10" and 1" marks and fold in a concertina fashion to make the card below. You will then be able to fold the cut skinny strip in the middle (6" mark)

I cut the base of the 6" x 6" paper till Lady V's boot at 1" from the bottom and fussy cut up her body till her shoulder and then cut the width of the ruler to the top of the paper.

After gluing her on, I then fussy cut the rest of the deck out and realised that I could see a lot of dark paper on the left, so I used the Allecgro Earth and Cappuccino to paint a fake deck.

I needed a bigger piece of sky than I had left after fussy cutting out the deck, so I cut a piece out of an 8"x8" sheet

I glued this at the back of the card and found my clear die cut airship as well as the words from the Collectables sheet in Voyages Fantastique's.

At this stage the airship is not glued to the base, but I did add glue (Fluid Gloss) to the top half sticking out of the paper and glued the left over 6"x6" sky to the back of it... upside down...
